Arlene Walter Obituary
Arlene L. Walter, 86, of Pingree Grove, died peacefully, September 21, 2022, with her family by her side.
Arlene was born February 3, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of John and Helen Wrecenyar. On June 29, 1957, she married Gordon H. Walter. They were married for 65 years. Arlene's greatest joys came from her family, crafting and spending time at the family cottage in Michigan.
Arlene is survived by her children Mark (Jan) Walter, Kimberly Walter and by her five grandchildren, Mark, Krysta, Amy, Hannah and Adam and she is also survived by her daughter-in-law Deb Walter.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charlie, 3 sisters Irene, Marge and Helen, her husband Gordon and by her son, Scott.

No one can ever prepare us for the loss of our loved one. Our hearts go out to you all, cousins Mark, Kim, Deb and families, and we wish you nothing but comfort and strength. We are so glad we had the opportunity to visit with both your mom and dad a couple years a ago. She still had that contagious laugh and ear to ear smile that I always remembered growing up, even through the difficult times. She was an inspiration to me. One of my favorite young childhood memories was spending time at the lakehouse with Aunt Arlene and uncle Gordon, pumping water for the kitchen sink, using an out house (not so fun) and of course swimming. We will miss you Aunt Arlene. Love and Peace.
