Zak, Arie A.K.A. Ludwig Zak or Ludwig Goldwag, Holocaust Survivor. Beloved husband of the late Gala (nee Kalmanson), loving father of Ruth (Larry) Leib and Marty (Ruth Goldberg Zak), devoted grandpa of Renie, Max and Sarah, dear brother of Halina "Holly" (late Harry) Rosenberg, special uncle to Mark, Bert and AnnaLee and great-uncle to many. Service Monday, 1 p.m., at The Weinstein Funeral Homes North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd. (one block north of Old Orchard). Interment Shalon Memorial Park, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Magen David Adom of Chicago, 8930 Gross Point Road, #800 Skokie, IL 60077 would be appreciated. Info: 847-256-5700.
