Toni will certainly be missed by everyone she touched. I also worked for the CFD, retiring 6 years ago, but still kept in contact through Avon, of all things. We'd laugh about certain products making us look younger, getting rid of wrinkles, etc. These last few years I'd kept her in my heart and in my prayers. I will miss her very much, but know that she is in heaven, waiting for all of us. To Angelo and the family, God bless you and keep you during these difficult days. Love, Marge Callahan

I did not work with Toni directly, but knew her through out the years, of working with the Chicago Fire Department, she will always answer with a cheerful voice, she would say this is Toni, Toni was a great person someone, I got used to talking on a daily basis, she knew where everyone was working that day, I don't know how she would do that, she was one of a kind. I worked with Toni, she was the type of person everyone should be like. Toni never had a bad thing to say about anyone,she always had a smile for you, even though she was not feeling well. Toni was a very sweet person. We are all very lucky to have known her and have her in our life's. You will all be in my prayers

Toni ,will be missed. She always spoke well of ever one and performed her work in a professional manner. I miss her as a former fellow worker but most of all I will miss her as a friend. My condolence to her family.

I hit a jackpot when I hired Toni 22 years ago.

She was very conscientious, hard working, very organized employee.
She created files for all CFD employees and took a great care to maintain them in immaculate order. She responded two the thousands of requests of employment verification. Toni, would always ask, if she seen me overloaded with work if she can help.
Last 4 years have been hard for Toni. While being treated she came to work and gave it her 100 %. She left me with her hand written notes how to handle files, which she wrote while in pain at home. She apologized for not perfect hand writing….
We became friends over the years. We shared a lot of family stories.
I miss Toni a lot already. I am glad she is not suffering anymore.
She will stay in my heart and memories forever.

She is now at peace hold her in your heart. She is now in Heaven as your Guardian Angel. She was a wonderful person. Toni, Brownie will miss his treats. Angelo, stay strong, peace be with you, you have done so much and tried so hard. Toni, I will never forget your kind heart, meeting in the hallway in morning as we went off to work, your decorations for every Holiday and your generous treats for Brownie. You are one of kind.
