Antoinette Secara Obituary
Secara, Antoinette P. (nee Corthinos), cherished wife of Peter, loving mother of Dennis "Dean" (Debbie) Secara and Eve "Becky" (Paul) Germain, fond grandmother of Dennis and Andrea Secara, Nichole and Peter Germain, sister of Marie (Peter) Boussios, Peggy (the late Peter "Taki") Corthinos, dear aunt of Curt, Lea and Angela Boussios, friend and relative to many. Visitation is Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Salerno's Rosedale Chapel, 450 W. Lake St., (¾ of mile W. of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.). At the family's request those attending the funeral on Friday shall go directly to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of DuPage, 893 Church Rd., Elmhurst, for 10:30 a.m. services. "Kiria Andonia" is a giant in the memories of my life. Her vibrancy and dedication to family and church is ledgendary. From my earliest days in the Kelvyn Park area to her "grand migration" to Oak Park, Toni was always there. In the later days of my own parents lives, she and Peter were regularly on the phone and there in person visiting them and buoying up thier spirits. I will always cherish fond precious memories of my Thia Toni. May her memory be eternal.
