Anthony Spata Obituary

Spata, Anthony Age 91, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born March 2, 1925 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. He was a longtime resident of Tinley Park and currently resided at Willow Falls in Crest Hill. He is now reunited with his great love, Donna (2007). He leaves behind his sons, Dan (Mary) Spata and Greg (Wendy) Spata; and his daughter, Julie Rintz; also to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Teresa (Steven) Genovese, Matt Spata, Sam Spata, Nina Spata, and Ashley Rintz; and his great-grandson, Vincent Genovese. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Joliet Area Community Hospice; especially his in-home caregivers, Tara, Deb, and Julie. They would also like to thank the entire staff at the Hospice Facility for making Anthony's final days so peaceful for him and his family. Per Anthony's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held.
