Karen: Klaus and I are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Forgive our absence as I have been on flu meds and thought it best to stay home. We remember meeting your Mom and Dad one Thanksgiving at my brothers Vals' house. Your Dad just charmed and delighted us all. May he rest in peace, and we add our prayers to the countless others, that God will hear our choir of voices as one on your familys' behalf; for strength, comfort and peace in this difficult time. Love, Nancy

Karen, so sorry to hear of your loss and so sorry for such a late response. My mom saved the obit as I returned from an out of town trip, otherwise I would have attended the wake. It is always tough to loose a parent, especially one that was so involved in life as your father was. I hope that you're doing well. It's been a long time, but I still remember you and your family! Take care - you're all in my prayers!

Dearest Cookie & Family,
"Reggie" has traveled down a road that's calm and peaceful. God's loving hand is guiding him on a journey to a distant and much better place.
Although your heart is heavy with sorrow you will always bear, it may help to bring you comfort, knowing "Reggie" is happy in this place. Someday, you will be together again.
Every day, in some small way, memories will come to mind. Memories in your heart today mean more than words can ever say. And, even though absent, he is always near, missed and always loved.
The memories you hold are a treasure, and his loss a lifetime regret. We know that you loved him dearly. But, try to think God's will was best.
Our family shares your loss and your sorrow. We are blessed to be part of your "family" and for having known you & Reggie for so, so long.
We will pray for God to give you the strength, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, guidance and direction to help get you thru each and every day.
I will especially miss my 'Brother Knight in Christ,' as a devoted, concerned & caring member of St. Albert KofC Council and Golf Club.

You and Reggie were a testament to what "til death do us part" means. Your love for each other was an inspiration for the rest of us, even to me a person who lived thru your adventures thru my friend, your friend, your neighbor, what a circle of life we all live in - we love & support each other and half the time don't even realize that we do - Remember the laughter, Remember the many good times and the bad because that's what made your love stronger - - All things thru Jesus! I send my prayers & Love from your Friend in Oswego!

Mrs. Ruggiero, Karen, Janet . . . . . My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your most loving husband and father. What a void a beloved leaves in our lives when they are gone - I think it's because they fill so much of our hearts when they are here with us. We are each lucky to have had someone like your dad (and mine) - the sorrow is so great now; but the strength of his love and the laughter will always be there for you. I wish I could be there give you each a hug in person - know that I am thinking of each of you and your entire family - with love,

There are no words I can offer that will mend your broken hearts. Just cling to your faith to help you cope with this loss, one minute at a time. Its been said that "life is a gift and each day is a treasure."
Reggie was a diamond in the rough.
He shined through and endured amongst things that would make the toughest weak. And he was smarter than people gave him credit for. But no matter, that was part of the plan.
Reggie knew how to make it happen because it was a dog eat dog world.
He was a product not so much of the environment, but a person of integrity, principal and love.
He knew better that all of us that the world with all its shams, drudgery & broken dreams, it's still a wonderful place to live.
I'll miss you my friend.
We ate good. And we drank good.
We shared how it was in past times.
The good ol' times.
The stories will live on.
The memories will continue.
And the kids will pass it on.
And their kids.
And so on, and so on, etc, etc.
Given that, I'll not say farewell.
But let's just say....I'll see you later.

Cookie,Karen,Janice,
We were shocked and saddened when we heard the news. Sonny has a special place in my heart because of the loving bond between him and my Dad, and the fun and memorable Shubert years. What a blast we had during those years, and whether Sonny new it or not he taught me so much about Chicago street sense and life in general.
We are praying for you during these trying days.

Cookie,
I am so very sorry for the sudden passing of Reggie...
Reggie was so great to sit and listen to all his stories and his huge laugh....
It was only a couple of weeks ago that we were talking at my Aunt Janes wake and him and Billy were telling stories of the old neighborhood...
My thoughts and prayers go out to you in this difficult time...
His huge smile and great laugh will be missed...
May you rest in peace Reggie....
