I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Tony many years ago. Tony was a good guy and inspired me to get into music. He introduced me to jazz by seeing Dave Brubeck and Roger Pemberton. He really never knew it, but he was a very positive inspiration in my life. Music opened many doors for me that I might never have known. I will always be grateful, and I will remember him always for that.

Tony and I were the best of buddies in the 5th Army Band at Fort Sheridan during 1963-64. I shipped out to Germany and lost track of Tony for many years. Finally after trying to locate him for the past many years, I finally was succeeded when I attended a 5th Army Band Reunion in Madison, WI and reunited with Wally Parcomenko who had been in touch with Tony over the years. I called and spoke with Tony in September and we enjoyed a lengthy conversation. I am very saddened by the news of his passing. I shall remember those precious months together in the 5th Army Band. Cecelia, Our heartfelt condolences to you and the entire family for your loss. I worked with Tony for many years long ago, and as a young technician with GE he helped me out of some tough spots, and made the job fun! He was a good guy! My wife and I are both sorry to hear of his passing.
