I met Tony and his wife Carol at St Pascal's church. He always wore his beloved Chicago Cubs Ball cap and I wore my St Louis Cardinals Cap. I just found out that he died...What a loss. I will miss him. My condolences to Carol and the family. He was truly one of a kind!!!

Tony you will be missed. I could alway expect to be harassed about being a Sox fan and hear how your Cubbies were going to do it this year. We did agree on our love for the Bears. I could see in your smile how proud you were of your grandkids when you would share pictures of them as they grow. They truly made your face and eyes light up. I will sincerely miss that smile and the wave hello when we would see each other. Thank you for being a great neighbor.

It was truly a joy to have Tony as a neighbor. He would always share a greeting. We'd talk about his fishing trips with his son, trade compliment on our yardwork in hopes of getting the other guy to do our yard too, and hope for a good Cubs season. He always asked about the kids, the family and my welfare. When asked he would share of his own. For Tony, it didn't have to be all about him, yet he was willing to share of himself. Tony was also a "favorite person" to our poodle, Jet. We had to set up a "greet Tony" bench so Jet could reach him to say hello. Dogs know a good guy when they meet one. Tony will be remembered fondly in many ways, by many. May you find comfort and strength in this time of loss.

Oh Uncle, so many memories. So many fun family gatherings. The one that stands out the most is July 4, 1976! That's the year Mike set off all the fireworks at once, then we all got to sit on your front porch like pumpkins, listening to fireworks going off everywhere else. IT WASN'T EVEN DARK YET!!! We laughed so hard that night.
Auntie Carol, Steven and Kurt, my heart is breaking for you all. I'm praying God gives you the strength to get through this most difficult time. I love you all...
