Dear Tony,
Knowing you as my Best Friend's Dad, was always a pleasure. A devoted Husband , Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather........ your family was your joy in life.
One of my dearest memories of you was an evening you took Marge, Fran and myself for pizza at Traverso's. The pizza arrived and you said to Fran, "Frannie please pass "Daddy" the salt." Referring to yourself as "Daddy", was the cutest thing I had heard in a long time. You were always so kind and made me feel as though I was part of your family. Soft spoken and caring to all that met you, there will forever be a place in my heart with little Tony's name on it.
I loved to hear you and my Dad talking about the Navy, and old times together while watching a football game on many holidays we all spent together.
There are so many who will miss you, but I have heard,.................... "To Live in the Hearts of the Ones We Love is Not to Die"!
We all love you and will miss your sweet ways.
Love,
Gail xx
