Cerrone Sr., Anthony J. of Addison, Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of the late Caroline (nee Battistoni), devoted father of Anthony Jr. and Maria (William) Ricchio, dear brother of Joanna (James) Paradiso, Edith (the late Richard) Schwartz, dear brother-in-law of Ben (Brigitte) and Gino (Kathy) and the late Louise (Elaine) Battistoni, fond grandfather of Joseph William Ricchio and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday, 9 a.m., from Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.), to St. Philip the Apostle Church. Mass 10 a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. Visitation Monday, 3 to 9 p.m. Please omit flowers. For info., 630-889-1700.

We sat next to Tony every Saturday at Mass. We appreciated his telling us we were his friends and keeping us updated on his health. We were very upset and sad to hear of his passing tonight at Mass. We will miss him every week at mass, our Friend.
