My sister and I began going to Dr. Batina after college, MANY years ago. We loved him! His humor put us right at ease. We would bring him jokes about dentists from Mad magazine, and he would laugh uproariously. His vast knowledge (and many opinions) about movies kept us scrambling to keep up with him! But most of all we remember his great kindness and wisdom. A good and loving man to be remembered forever! Kathy Finerty (and Judy Finerty Wolfe)

We are so sorry for your loss. Dr. Batina became my dentist when I got married. He had been my husband's family dentist for years, and they knew each other from the old neighborhood.

My sympathies to the Batina family. Going to Dr. Batina was was like visiting a friend not a dental appointment.
When my sons were small I took them to Dr. Batina. I was out of work at the time and he was aware of it. When he finished I asked him how much I owed him. He said don't worry about it there is no charge. I will always remember that.
