Sandy, Joey ....I was so surprised to hear that your Mom and Dad passed away. As a small child growing up and as your neighbor on Parkside your parents were the nicest people and always felt like family to us. They had the joy of watching us grow up, and attended all our family gatherings /special occassions. It is a shame that time passed by and we did not keep in touch as often.
They are together again...My mom is enjoying their company once again.

OK, my Godfather Uncle Tony, I remember you when you came home a hero from the Korean War from the US Marine Corp. I think I was about 4 or 5 years old. You found that pretty girl Betty (My Auntie Betty) and married her and had 2 beautiful children, Sandy & Joey and lived in the big city making all of our lives more valuable for knowing you. The movie godfather, had nothing on my Godfather. My heart comes from California today to Chicago to be with my cousins, brothers, sisters and my mother Theresa (Tony's elder sister). May I kiss your ring my dear Godfather?
Excuse me while I kiss the sky again, Auntie Betty, Uncle Benny, Auntie Dolores, my Father Steve (Albert/Sonny), JoJo, Allen, Auntie Josie, Uncle Jerry, and all of the cousins and ancestors grandmas and grandpas from Sicily and Chicago who have gone before him will see him at the eternal party in heaven. My heart goes out to Chicago from California today when the service for My Uncle Tony goes down. Sandy & Joe and your family are all in my thoughts and I wish you all hope and comfort in the near future as you mourn this Missed Man.
21 gun salute to you Uncle T. I will remember you forever, for eternity.
Love,
Your GodSon..........Richie

Dear Sandy, Joe and Karen,
Our most sincere condolences from Monika, myself and all your cousins. I know we've talked since last week but I want to say again that your mom and dad were wonderful people and after some of the sadness goes away...look for and remember all the good times and cherish the memories! Smile when you feel like crying....I think they would prefer that! May God send Blessings your way! Love, your cousin, Davey
