I want to express my condolences to the Tamburrino family. Mrs. Tamburrino was my teacher 37 years ago at Lucy Fitch Perkins Elementary School in Chicago when I was in 3rd grade. I shall always remember the "little crossed ties" she wore under the collar of her blouses. (I remember she had an array of colors, some even had little "sparkles" for the Holidays.) She was a terrific teacher and I truly value the knowledge and values she instilled in me.

I apologize for not being able to attend the visitation, but my heart goes out to the family of this wonderful, little lady!

(By the way, Mrs Tamburrino was also my sister's teacher for 2 years straight, 40 years ago!!)
