Dear Annie,
To the best Annie we've ever known,
An adopted mom and grandma, living next door to our home.
Your heart full of love,
Your eyes so blue,
Recalling your favorite saying, “To Thine Self be True”.
Showing us all how to make kolachky cookie dough,
And teaching Kellie and I to sew.
Coloring with Paige at the kitchen table,
While George, Jim and the boys went down to the basement to see the model airplanes hanging from the cables.
On birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries too,
We always celebrated together at our house with George and you.
You were a spotless cleaner and organizer at heart,
Baron Blakeslee, and all your co-workers, thrived with your love and computer smarts.
George loved your homemade dishes and those “Killer Brownies” made at every birthday,
And your special Annie cookbook that has been passed to loved ones along the way,
For 61 years, you and George, were such a super team,
Wallpapering, stitching and sewing everything perfectly at the seams.
“Satch”, was your nickname that George gave you way back when,
Your laughter, smile, whistling, squeezes and long legs made you a perfect ten.
You loved when George would play his harmonica and sing,
All the love, kisses and memories, to our house you would bring.
Losing you, Annie, has brought us to tears,
You will live in our hearts forever through the years.
We are thankful fate brought us together fourteen years ago,
And have been blessed to have you a part of our family, more than you will ever know.
We love and miss you.
Jim, Tina, Kellie, Mitchell, Chase and Paige Klocko

George,
At 1:30 p.m. today, March 3rd, I finally got around to reading last Sunday's Trib. To my dismay, I saw Annie's obituary. I was immediately reminded of the roast pork dinner I made for the two of you last year. Annie was still smiling and I certainly saw the "old Annie" from her Baron Blakeslee days. She was a great "mentor" and I'll always remember the dinners we enjoyed with the personnel group. George, please give a call when you're up to it. Our prayers are with you.

I worked with Anne at Baron-Blakeslee for may years. She was such a kind, helpful and loving person. She will be missed by many! My thoughts and prayers are with George and the family.

My utmost sympathy to Anne's family, I worked with Anne briefly from 1986 to 1988 at Baron-Blakeslee and often sought her advice on many issues. I am sure she will be missed.May God bless Anne.
