Anna Sobczak Obituary

Anna Ida Sobczak, 84, of Interlachen passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 at her home following an extended illness. Anna, a native of Duluth, was a beautiful snowbird taking flight to Florida each year for 40 years, making Interlachen her home in 1993. Every person has a story, Anna's was a tragic story often spent grieving for the husband and three sons she lost. Still, she was able to rise above anything that life dealt her and made her story count for something. Not everyone can leave a lasting legacy but Anna Ida did. For those who looked deeper than the surface, they saw a 'real lady', a fantastic mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. PRIVATE CELEBRATION OF LIFE:will be held at her home in Interlachen. She will rest beside her husband, and sons in Duluth. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Interlachen, Fla.

To my mother who is now in our Lords hands.
She is preceded by her husband Andrew Sobczak, three sons, Donald, Dennis and Robert.
Survived by sons James and his wife Marsha of Little Rock, Arkansas and Lawrence of Oceola, Wisc., brothers Sylvester and Richard Yagoda of Duluth, nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Anna earned the respect of each of her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. She loved each and everyone uncondetional. She loved playing barbies with her granddaughter Cayla and cribbage with anyone willing to lose. She had a heart of gold and a recipe for life that many will follow.
Her loving son Jim:
