Anna Bodek Obituary

Bodek, Anna Marie 84 of Lake Geneva, died November 19, 2004 at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva. Anna was born September 10, 1920 in Omaha, NE to Xavier and Anna Wojtkiewicz. She spent her early life and was educated in Omaha. On August 9, 1940 she was united in marriage to Frank Bodek who preceded her in death on August 31, 1961. Following their marriage they resided in Chicago, IL. Anna was an assembler for Northwestern Golf in Chicago. She has been a resident of Lake Geneva for the past year and had resided in Troy, MI for the past 20 years. Anna was a member of the Guardian Angels in Clawson, MI and also a member of the Clawson Eagles #3926. She is survived by two children, daughter Lori (Hal) Morence of Troy, MI, and son Jim Bodek of Burlington, WI, eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren, Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Dorothy Witnik. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Thielen officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Monday, November 22, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place on Wednesday, November 24, 2004, 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Cemetery in Omaha, NE. Memorials have been suggested to the Charity of Ones Choice.

Anna was my "Cokie Annie." She was an aunt who never forgot a birthday or holiday. She remembered all of my children as well. I will miss her as she was my godmother as well.
