Anita Levin Obituary

Levin, Anita Hershenson (nee Morris) Age 99, passed away on July 29, 2015. Much loved daughter of the late Louis and Blanche Morris; beloved wife of the late Harry G. Hershenson and the late Louis M. Levin; loving mother of Sander (Kristina) Marcus and Anne (Avraham) Sharfman; adored grandmother of Guy (Cora) Sharfman, Dalit (Scott Wilkinson) Sharfman, Ellen (Andy Svekas) Marcus, Katherine (Nicholas) Kaider; cherished great-grandmother of Talia Svekas and Gabriel Sharfman. Anita led an active life as medical secretary, semi-professional actress, and volunteer at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, as well as supporter of many educational and humanitarian causes. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving family matriarch and valued friend.
