Duros, Angelus "Pete" Age 96, WWII U.S. Army Veteran; beloved husband of the late Mary; loving father of James M. Duros; Sally Duros; Mary T. (John Weagly) Duros; and the late Raymond K. Duros; cherished uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews; special neighbor in the East Rogers Park Neighborhood of Chicago. Pete was an accomplished civil engineer, lover of nature, and lifelong photographer. Visitation Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Maloney Funeral Home, 1359 W Devon Ave. Remembrances and eulogy at 7:00 p.m. Funeral procession Friday, June 30, at 10:00 a.m., from Maloney Funeral Home to All Saints Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 700 N. River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016, with WWII service honored by color guard. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chicago Audubon Society or Habitat for Humanities: Operation Homefront. To the family of Pete Duros, please know that he was held in high regard by his colleagues at Harza Engineering both for his professionalism and his good nature. His wry sense of humor was one of his trademarks. He showed patience as a mentor to younger engineers. He is missed.
