Angelina Thompsen Obituary

I didnt know Angelina. I just read the beautiful and sad story today in the Sun-Times and wanted to extend my condolences to Brandon and the families. Angelina was beautiful and courageous. May the wonderful memories you have of her sustain you during this difficult time. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

To all of Angie's loved ones:

My husband Steve and I knew Angie through the Brychels. We may not have known her as well as some but words that we think describe her are: bright, beautiful and a courageous young woman who handled all her medical issues with grace and dignity. She was a true inspiration to many!

We are so sorry for your loss and are holding her family in our thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time.

I'm really going to miss you Angie. We went to BCA West together, and I saw you a few times around the De Paul campus as we both went to the same college. I'm glad we connected years later via FB. It's rare to find a friend, who is a girl, who I can talk to about the White Sox, The Walking Dead, and all horror movies. Most of my female friends hate at least one or all of those topics. I was so happy when I found out you shared my similar passions. I am really going to miss our chats. You were such a wonderful friend with this fiery light energy that seemed to follow you wherever you went. Even when I was suffering this year with my own problems, you still reached out to ask me how I was doing. Your kindness, strength, and courage will never be forgotten. I never met anyone like you before, and I don't think I ever will again. You were one of a kind, and you will never be replaced. Rest in peace my dear friend Angie. My condolences go out to the Harris-Thompsen families, and to Brandon, who lost his true soulmate. *HUGS*
