Loving husband of Elvira Gonzalez, who loved him very much, loving father of Elisa Mercado Gayosso (Roberto Gayosso, son-in-law), Gisselle Esparza, and Jose Angel Esparza Jr., cherished grandfather of Vincent Mercado and a baby child on the way to be named Angel after him, fond brother of two sisters and three brothers, like a father to many nieces and nephews, friend to many. loving and understanding father, who devoted his life to his three kids. We will miss his sense of humor and the way he made us laugh. He enjoyed having many birds and fishes. He was a good hearted person who never turned anyone down.
