So we are 21 days away from the 7 year marker. I am writing something now because I don't know if I can write something on that day. I miss you soooo much! I love you sooo much! I think about you always! The gaping hole in my heart will never recover. Mostly I ask why, but there is no answer. I do have the most beautiful memories of you and I hope that you know that. I know that you're with me sometimes, I can feel you there. I see alot of wildlife when I am driving for work and I feel like you are sending my attention to it so that I know you are there enjoying a common love we both have. I will see you when it's my time. I know that your spirit is happy where you are. I love you always, mom

Happy Birthday my sweet boy! You'd be 35 today! You were always one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! Always talking to people that you don't even know as if they were friends. I wonder some days where you are and if you know that I am wondering that. Then a feeling comes over me, and I know it is you. Your life was a happy adventure on this planet. The picture I included here was a selfie, before they were called that. You got your Turtles camera for some occasion I can't remember. First thing out of the box and you took a picture of you! I love that picture! I miss you just the same as always. Almost 6 years, seems like yesterday and an eternity at the same time. I know that I will see you again when it's time, so for now I have memories of wonderful you and all of your happy birthdays!! Weekend trip to Milwaukee! As hazy as that weekend was I’ll never forget it! Cheers to my best bud, I know your smiling down on us.

It would have been your 35th birthday today brother. Still miss you like crazy every day and not a day goes by that I don't miss and think about you. Love you!

I met Andy when we started working at Mr beef together in highschool he was a fun guy to work with. He introduced me to his friends and we all became friends. Andy was a great guy with a great personality. We went to a concert together one summer it was a fun day. The loss of a friend is never expected especially at this age. My heart goes out to his family. I hope somewhere in the darkness they find some comfort.

This is the first time that I have come to this site since Andy's passing to spirit. That was 3 years, 4 months, and 24 days ago. I think of him, talk to him, and see signs of his presence with me every day! I am grateful for this because it helps me know that I will be with him and other loved ones again someday. I have had enormous trouble wrapping my mind around the idea that he is not physically here in body. But I feel his presence with me every day!
At his service I was too numb to get up and speak about what a joy and privilege it was to have Andy for my son. Oh, he was trouble at times, but his love of life far outweighed any of that. He was so friendly and out-going! I worried sometimes because he had the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone! I realize now that it was a gift that he had and he used it to help people. He loved life! He loved animals. From the time he was little, he brought home countless wounded animals that he insisted I help. Of course I helped because we had that love for animals in common. He was a loving, caring, and loyal true friend. I know this from all of his friends that told me so. They too are still missing him. Lastly, I know that he loved his family. He, Erik, Samantha, and I were always close in our hearts and still are. We all shared special bonds with each other and together that are always present no matter where we are. We share wonderful memories of Andy and his life on this plane of existence. I know that I will miss him for what seems like forever, but I also know that he is always here in my heart and I will be with him again.

We so enjoyed these past several summers, at Jeff and Dave's house! Thanks for the fun filled times.we will miss you always.

The obituary fails to mention the Date. The Memorial for Andy is this Saturday April 11th from 2 to 5 PM at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Highway, Frankfort, IL. Memorial Service is at 4:30.
