Dear Mrs. Lucas and family,

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear husband.

Our families shared so many happy times and things in common - including both your husband and my daddy being the community's TV MEN! And you and my dear mama had a wonderful friendship for many years.

I'm grateful to have so many memories of time spent at your home and at Mr. Lucas' shop.

Please know that I'm thinking of you and praying for you during this very difficult time. I wish I could be there for you, as you were with me when daddy passed 3 years ago.

I'm with you in spirit and am sending you my love.
