Dear Mary,
I'm your long lost cousin; I read about Andy's death a day after the funeral. My parents, Joseph and Mary Kaminski, used to own the farm where Aunt Marie and Uncle Wally lived in Indiana. I remember you, T.J. and Andy as small children; I remember how hard your parents, and especially your mom, worked to run the Avalon Florist on 87th St. Your parents were always there laying down the white cloth that graced the aisle of St. Michael's Church for all those weddings; and they were there with the most beautiful flowers at my dad's death when I was little; he died at 47, same as Andy. I lived for almost 20 years in the same town Judy and Bob were in (Monterey), not far from the old farm. You have my deepest sympathy and especially for the losses incurred during your young life. These are trying times but you will be held in prayer. God bless you. Your cousin, Marcia

I extend my deepest sympathy. Andrew has been and will be missed. Did he make me laugh. I am thankful that our paths did cross, in my life his life was not in vain. Andrew would tell me "you're my angel", when in fact on a hectic work day, he was mine. Andrew, thanks for the memories.

I had the pleasure of knowing TJ, Andy and Mary when we were little kids. Tj was one of my best friends and Andy was always the little brother that we picked on. After TJ died in 1975 I became better friends with Andy. From our escapades at the garden center on 87th Street to our great times in Marynook to our years on "The Corner" at 85th & Euclid - and beyond, I will never forget my friend Andy Hyzy. He was a great guy and a good person.

I worked with Andrew at City Hall. He had a great sense of humor and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I am sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
