Amy Dulin of Locust Grove, Virginia, became an angel on April 14, 2017. She was born on August 12, 1988 and was 28 years old. She was the daughter of Gari Dulin and predeceased by her mother Julie Bartley. Amy is survived by her father and significant other Sarah Miller Jarrell and sister Kelli Hynd and husband TJ of Dayton, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Radford Bartley and her paternal grandparents, Steve and Maxine Dulin. Amy is survived by her grandmother, Barbara Bartley; and great-aunt Gerry Dulin as well as a loving extended family.
Amy enjoyed playing softball, 4-H and taking care of her animals, including her horse Dolcy, and her beloved emotional support companion dog, Dixie. She also enjoyed gardening, four wheeling, making jewelry, singing karaoke, swimming, listening to music, and helping on the farm. Amy loved spending time with her family and was loved by all. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church and recently attended services and recommitted herself to Christ at Wilderness Community Church.
A celebration of life visitation will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove, Va. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Keith Boyette officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Cemetery, Orange, Va. The family will receive friends at the home of Gari Dulin and Sarah Jarrell following the burial. For memorials, please consider the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia.
