Dear Cousins, Connie, Philip and Marilyn,
I shall miss my Uncle Amos very much, too. He served our country, lived in Taunton where most of us lived at the time, where we as kids could know each other, play together and develop the importance of families, visited my Mom and Dad in East Syracuse and Florida often (knowing him better and appreciating his mild manner, his knowledge of cars, remembrance of things past and his concern for us.) My children remember him well for his making time to visit us. He linked the generations for which I am very grateful. He also gave himself in selfless service to military retirees at the VA Hospital, a sacrifice of love. What a good example to us all. I love him and look forward to a joyful reunion with him and Aunt Marion one day. All my love to you.

Dear Family,
So sorry for the loss of your Dad, and or Uncle. Uncle Amos was considered part of our family as he was closely connected for so many years. He was in St. Cloud with his relatives and also mine over the years. His brother Joseph was married to my Aunt Marion. He will be remembered for his warmth and good nature.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Uncle Amos. I remember his visits to us in St. Cloud. He was friendly, good humored and always had that wonderful smile. My condolences go to his family.

Uncle Amos will be missed. He always made me and my brothers feel special. He came to Cincinnati to be with our family at times when he was most needed: Mom & Dad's 50th, my wedding, Mom & Dad's funerals, just to name a few. We have many fond memories of Uncle Amos. Please accept our deepest sympathy. I only wish we could be there. Our hearts go out to you. Love, Barb (Cox) & Russ Andrews

I had the great privelege volunteering with Amos at the Syr. VA hospital. I never met such a happy go lucky person in my life and he was a pure pleasure to work with in any capacity. He will be missed by all, I know God welcomed him home with open arms so Amos could add his warm smile to heaven
