Amelia Gonzalez Obituary
Amelia Gonzalez, nee Rangel passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday evening. She was the beloved Wife for 66 years of Arturo Gonzalez. Cherished Mother of Magdalena " Maggie" (John) Townsend, Alma Rosa Gonzalez, Martha Korbel and Arturo Gonzalez. Loving Grandmother of Sean (Madison) Townsend, Amelia Erickson and Lucas Townsend. Dear Sister of Ana Maria Rangel (late Jose Guadalupe) Sepulveda, Elvia Rangel, the late Pedro Hernandez Jimenez, late Maria Rangel(late Roberto) Marines, late Jesus Rangel Fuentes, the late Roberto Rangel Fuentes and late Aurora Rangel. Amelia will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Amelia was preceded in death by her parents Elvira Fuentes de Rangel and Prof. Jesús Ma. Rangel Abundis. Visitation is Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 West Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Daniel the Prophet Church for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Amelia will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
