Pernitz, Alyce J. (nee Kahan), age 90, beloved wife of the late Sam, loving mother of Maureen (Lester) Lampert and Linda (Ira) Gantz, adoring nana of David (Julie) Lampert, Fradine (Robert) Kipnis, Darcy (Mark) Dranoff, Andrew (Sarah) Weitzman and Lorie Weitzman, great-grandmother of Samara, Alex, Jacob, Brooke, Shayli, Sarah, Jake and Teddy, dear sister of the late Mitzi Sher, Reeva Helman, Marion Kahan. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The University of Chicago Cancer Research Center at The University of Chicago, 5841 South Maryland Ave., MC 1140, Chicago, IL 60637. Service Tuesday, 12:30 p.m. at the Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery, Arlington Hgts. For info 847-256-5700.

Nana was a wonderful lady to all! Always a joy to see her whether family or friends! We'll miss her happiness great sense of humor. What a great nana, mom, friend etc... we'll all miss her.
