Alvina Strich Obituary

Strich, Alvina E. age 92, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on May 24, 2006, at Aurora Medical Center. Born on January 14, 1914, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Monica (Borowski) Lucas. She attended schools in Moline and Rockford, IL. On May 5, 1956, in Kenosha, WI, she married John Strich. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1985. Alvina was employed as a cook at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center for 13 years retiring in 1976. She was a member of Eagles Aerie #1055 Auxiliary, Kenosha Senior Citizens and the Association of Lithuanian Workers. She is survived by a brother, Alfred Lucas of Minneapolis, MN, a sister, Louise Velez of St. Petersburg, FL, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, A. John Lucas and three sisters, Francis Pearson, Pauline Moteczus and Marion Didier. In accordance with Alvina's wishes, private services were held.
