Schichner, Alvin J. Age 80, late of Hegewisch, passed away Tuesday, September, 29, 2015. Beloved husband of Marlene Schichner; loving father of Paul, Dale (Jill) and Todd (Jennifer) Schichner; proud grandfather of Dennis, Stephanie and Arik Schichner; caring brother of David (Peggy) and late Edward (Jeanne) Schichner; kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Ruby Schichner. Alvin proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was also a longtime member and elder of Trinity Lutheran Church.
