As I child, a teenager and a young man, I looked up to Allan as an idol, an ideal and as my eldest cousin. I continued to do so throughout our eventual maturing as adults and loving family men. I always will...

I treasured Mr.Niederman's friendship his smile,his laugh and his presence. A very special man who inspired many on a daily bases.

I am so very sorry to hear of Allan's passing. He and Joyce have been an inspiration to all at Mitchell Museum. I will miss his friendly smile. Best wishes for peace and comfort for Joyce and the family.
