I'll always remember hanging out as kids, our time as teammates on the Colts and most of all that laugh. Just so infectious. You could turn a bad day around just with that laugh. Been a long time, but, you'll always be remembered fondly.

I knew Alan growing up in Cal-Park. I found an old picture from the Rams and started looking up childhood friends of mine from the picture. I was shocked to come across this page. Alan was a good friend, good athlete and always fun to be around. I am very sorry for your loss, my sincerest condolences.

I stumbled across this article the other day and realized it's already been 9 years since you passed. I know we didn't remain as close as we were when we were kids roaming the streets of the East Side of Blue Island and Cal Park. I've been thinking a lot about you this past week and all the great memories we shared from the Rams to the Untouchables and hanging out at the St. Donatus carnival. I would give anything to go back to those days just to see you smile again and hear that crazy laugh! I miss handing the ball off to you and watching you break tackles and run for a touchdown like you did in this photo when we beat Stickney for the Championship! Godspeed my friend.

Happy birthday Allan. I think of you often and love & miss you bunches. I could never have asked for a better friend. We had some rip-roarin' times working together at Reliance. Hope you're having a ball in heaven. Mike Sumowski has come to find you there. Take care of each other. <3

My sympathies to the Montoya family. I worked with Allan recently, and briefly, via StarCon. He always had a smile and something nice to say. I will remember him fondly, and my wife and I offer our prayers for his soul and for his family whom he left behind.

Allan... I've thought about you so much these past years. I've searched for you and asked around. I didn't know where to find you or where you went...
I can remember you pulling up behind my apartment in Blue Island in your fancy orange car with the black racing stripes and we would sit and talk for hours- We laughed so hard at so many personal jokes! We hung out more than most people knew. I drew your bulldog tattoo for you. You were always there for me in a time of need and I will never forget that. I'm so sorry I didn't go to your funeral... I just couldn't do it. It's not the way I wanted to see you again.
My thoughts and love to your family. You will be SO missed.

Allan was a great friend of mine. He always made people laugh around him. Allan touched many people. I could always count on Allan to give me recommendations on new restaurants or great places to visit in Mexico. He was always there for me. I really enjoyed the times at Charlie Horse and golfing. Allan, you will be missed. Rest in peace buddy.
