Al Gentleman was aptly named. He was that and more. He took a ragtag
bunch of teen-agers (of which I was one) under his wing over 50 years ago
and taught us the discipline of working together as a team. Girls sports
was not taken very seriously back then and I have often thought how lucky
we were to have known him. I'm sorry I never got to tell him that. Nita

Al will always hold a special place in my heart ... he was our girl's baseball team coach and a good friend, who helped us through life in many ways.
