Alice Richardson Obituary

Mrs. Alice M. Richardson, 82, of Pleasant St., Lynn died Tuesday in Union Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Donald H. Richardson who passed away in November 2002.

Born in Malden, daughter of the late Alan P. & Lila M. (Browne) Harris, she was a graduate of Everett High School. She resided in Lynn for 21 years, previously residing in Malden & Everett.

She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, where she volunteered at various Church functions & Bazaars. She was a member of the Community Brotherhood in Lynn, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She leaves 2 daughters Donna G. Lawson of Lynn, & Pearl E. Richardson of Berwick, ME, 2 brothers Edward Harris of Lynn, & Alan P. Harris of Malden, 1 sister Vera Hearns, 7 grandchildren Stacey, James, Liza, & Adam Lawson, Dwayne Richardson, Andrea Kimber, & Kenneth Kimber, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was mother of the late Dwight C. Richardson.

Funeral Services in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple St., Lynn Friday at 11 AM. Interment in VA National Cemetery, Bourne at a later date.
