I met your dear mother in 1981 when we formed the first Christ Renews His Parish team at St. Terrence. Among her many admirable gifts was her wonderful sense of humor; such great times we had!
I had my knee replaced last week and couldn't get to the wake, but I will be at Mass at 11:00 for her big send-off into the arms of God who loves her more than we can imagine. May you find peace in knowing she is with your dad and brother.

Lizzy, Theresa, Carol & Marky, I am so sorry for your loss. Remember the good times and the love that your Mom has for you. She will get you through the grief you feel at this sad time. Thanks for the childhood memories of letting me draw on the back porch walls at your house on Maplewood with chalk, thanks for the cream filled coffee cake, the best fried chicken in the whole world, teaching me how to make circle skirts for my Barbies and most of all for all the love and laughter we shared in my adult life as friends. So sorry for your loss. She was a great lady.

I grew up a few doors down from Alice, and she is a neighbor I will truly miss. She always had a bright smile and friendly wave from across the yards when I'd see her. She used to tell my mother that she was going to heaven with her shoes on - I'm sure Alice's shoes are certainly intact as she swings on her swing in heaven.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.I valued your Mother's friendship greatly and shall miss her.This will be especially true,when 1 of the kids wants to run to her yard and sit on the swing.
