Alice Kavcic Obituary

Kavcic, Alice Dorothy 85 (nee Harey) of Stickney. Cherished wife of Andrew for 65 years; cherished mother of Kathleen (Richard Koziel), Carol, Janet (Jeffrey Bloom); cherished grandmother of Jennifer Koziel, Brian (Heather) Koziel and Jeffrey Koziel; beloved aunt and cousin. Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ann (Marentic) Harey; and her sister, Anne Barnes; special thank you to her caregivers, Katarzyna, Valentyna, Ulyana. Alice grew up in the Pilsen neighborhood. She attended Harrison High School and worked at International Harvester. She met Andrew, who also grew up in Pilsen and after they married, relocated to the Little Village neighborhood. She was active in the parish of Blessed Agnes where she belonged to the Lady Parishioners.
