Helgeson, Alice O. (nee Oltendorf), age 95, a life long resident of Palatine, beloved wife of the late Harris V. Helgeson, loving mother of Jane H. Ziehm of Palatine and Karen A. Keller of Santa Barbara, loving of grandmother of Brett (Sarah) Keller, Heidi (Brett Stewart) Ziehm and Tara (Jordan) Kurland, loving great-grandmother of Cole and Ethan Keller, Theo Kurland and Sterling Stewart, dear daughter of the late Edwin and Ida Oltendorf, fond sister of the late Dorothy Schirding, Evelyn Friedland and Iva LaPoint. Visitation at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL, 60067-5359, from 3 to 9 p.m., Sunday. Memorial services 12 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church of Palatine, 123 N. Plum Grove Rd., Palatine, 60067, Rev. Michael Morris will officiate.
