Maura,
It's been a long, long time. I was sorry to hear about your mother. I hope you and your family are doing well. Your mom was nice and well loved I know. May God be with you all through this time. Write me if you'd like when things settle down.

Maura,
It's been many years since you and your Mom were together with us in our TOPS chapter. Her passing brought back so many wonderful memories of her, and you as well.
There are just a few of us now that go back to the days when you and your Mom were at our weekly meetings.
We wanted to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Your Mom was a very special lady and we are blessed to have known her.

Dear Maura:
I will miss my dear godmother. God
Bless you for taking the loving care of your mom that you did. I'm sure that your home just won't seem the same for you, Bob and the boys.
You've always had her with you and I know that you will miss her terribly. I always looked forward to
visiting with you and your mom and
think fondly back on the birthday luncheon you surprised her with at Beverly a few years back when I was in for a visit. That was the last time I saw her.
I know in my heart that she is at peace and so happy to be with your dad and Eddie. Be happy for her, Maura. You had her for so long. God needs her now. Keep her close in your heart because she'll always be with you when you need her.
Much Love,
Kathy

Dear Maura,
My prayers are with you and your family. Your Mother was a wonderful woman. I remember with fondness all the times I talked with her at Christ the King when she would come and read to the first graders. I would often share a cup of tea with her in the faculty lounge while on break. I know she loved you dearly and adored your family. She is finally at peace after a long tough road. Fondly, Mary Carey

Dear Maura and Family,
I was very saddened to hear about the passing of your dear Mother. I shall always remember with fondness how kind and welcoming she made me feel when I was at your house. May you find comfort in the good memories, and peace in knowing that she is sharing in the glory of the Lord. You are all in my prayers.

Dear Green and Foy Families
I want to express my deepest sympathy to all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with your families. You are blessed to have had her in your lives. May your memories comfort you. I want you to know she was very special to me. She was a wonderful teacher; she was my most favorite teacher ever!
Alice Green was my 3rd and 6th grade teacher at Charles Kozminski School in Hyde Park. She was my favorite teacher then and remains to this day my favorite teacher of all time. I regret I never told her that in person. I know she knows it now. I was in the 6th grade 50 years ago but I have never forgotten her.
My sister and I remember her reading stories to us. The way she read inspired us to want to read also. I think that's part of what made her a wonderful teacher and a person you could never forget. We especially liked when she would read in her best "southern accent".
I also remember if you didn't do your homework, you had to complete it in class. She gave you a choice of standing at the window where you had a ledge to write on or standing at the back of the room and balancing your paper on your knee. It only happened to me once; I chose the back of the room where the other kids couldn't see me! She was very fair; if you didn't hand in your homework, there was no escaping one of her 2 options!
God bless Alice Green Foy. THE BEST AND MOST WONDERFUL TEACHER - EVER! I love you Miss Green.
Sincerely
JERRY FRITSCH

Dear Maura & Family;
GOD Bless you all. May GOD comfort you all at this time. It was a pleasure knowing your mother. She was always so sweet & kind to me. I have missed her at the Mercy High School Alumnae functions. I always admired the way she dressed. I always teased her and told her I was going to be like her when I grew up. I am from the last class of Mercy 1972!!!
