Here is a poem I wrote for my Mom.

I’ll remember my mom to the end of my days,
She was a big part of my life in a special way.
She had to go and leave us alone,
Because, God saw her suffering and took her home.

She had been growing weaker in every way,
Depending on medications to get through the day.
I’ve watched as her arthritis crippled her hands,
And the difficulty she had when she tried to stand.

The diabetes and low blood cells tormented her life,
Now the pain that I feel cuts like a knife.
I wish I could see her just one more time,
And let her know that we will all be fine.

For each day in my thoughts she will stay.
And I will help my Father to get through this day.
So farewell to my mom, I won’t see her tomorrow,
All I have left is the memories and sorrow.

With Grandma she sits and watches from above,
And knows’ that she will be missed and was truly loved.

I will miss my Mom
With Love - Vicki
