Tito Fred was a staple member of my family when we lived in Chicago. I knew his family very well. I remember watching boxing on TV with him on ABC, and he'd be holding either my brother Mark, or later, his own son Allen, and in the middle of a feeding he'd swing his shoulders to mimic a punch as it was thrown.
I've learned to measure a person not by their accomplishments, but by the love they leave behind in their families and children and the people they know. By those standards, Tito Fred was Superman.

I mostly knew Alfredo Toreja through his son Albert, since I'm one of his teachers. In the past 4 yrs I've come to appreciate what a wonderful father he must've been. I'm happy I was able to know him a little. My love & prayers to all of you. S.Nancy
