Owen, Alfred P. age 78, of Downers Grove for over 54 years, beloved husband of Doloris (nee Becker), loving brother of the late Henry (the late Peggy) Owen, the late Gordon Owen, the late David Owen, Robert Owen, William Owen, John (Marie) Owen, Grace (Irving) Obergefell and Ann (the late Jim) Waldrop, fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove, IL, 60515. Funeral service Thursday, 10 a.m. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. Dear Deloris,
We are sorry to hear about Al. As I told you on the phone I have some very pleasant memories of Al. I looked forward to seeing him when ever you came home to S.Dak. for a visit.I loved his laugh. It was contagious. I still remember the scooters you bought for Rich and me. We love you and will keep you in our prayers.
