Hi My name is Regina Johnson I work at Donoghue Charter where Evalynn attends school. Im so sorry! I just found out the news of the passing of Alexus! The last day of school was June 18th. She was always happy and vibrant. She gave me a hug and I hugged Evalynn and told them goodbye have a great summer and I will see them in a month when school started back! Im in tears i will never get to see her beautiful face again. She loved and adored Evalynn and she was the flyest little girl in the building. Im praying for her sweet little spirit because she loved her mama. They face time me over the pandemic as well. I love you Alexus rest in peace sweetie ! Evalynn Ms. Regina will always be here for you. I love you dearly little girl.

Alexus you weren´t only family to me you were way more than that. it´s crazy how ppl would think we were twins or even thought you were my younger sister plenty of times and we never denied it. You were an amazing mother to Eva. I still don´t understand why you are gone so soon. But I promise the village will help Eva grow and remind her how much she has always meant to you and we will continue to shower her with love for you. You will forever be in our hearts. And when I see that Puerto Rican flag I´ll forever hear you yell BORICUA.

You were hands down one of my favorite people on earth. You were courageous enough to be your authentic self and love life as it was intended to lived. Continue watching over us and know that we miss you down here. We will make sure Evelyn knows how powerful her mother was and how she impacted us all. BORICA!!!!

Lex, Love you to the moon and back. It was a pleasure helping to care for you those first few years. You taught me so much but I´ll treasure most your sweet voice and and beautiful smile. You carried that smile everywhere and for everyone. I was so proud of you and I will miss keeping up with you and especially your posts. I´ll miss you always and love you forever.

The world has lost an incredibly beautiful and talented human being. I was deeply saddened to hear the news. Alexus lived her life in such an exemplary way and has been an example of a glorious life well lived. She will forever be in the hearts of so many Taylor teachers, family and friends.
