Yavaraski, Alexander J. Alexander J. Yavaraski, 90, of Lemont, passed away April 19, 2008, a Veteran of WWII, proudly serving as a SSgt. in the U.S. Army. Beloved husband of Genevieve (nee Osinski) Yavaraski, loving father of the late Alexander "Butch" Yavaraski, Ronald (Christine) Yavaraski, Kevin (Maureen) Yavaraski, Frank (Lynne) Yavaraski, Thomas (Vanesa) Yavaraski, and Mary Cherny, cherished grandfather of Catherine, Claire, Nicole, Lauren, Frank, Maggie, Genna, Brennan, Dillon, Maxwell, Emily, and Alexander, fond brother of the late Elizabeth Bridgeman, the late Lottie Curylo, the late Frank Yavaraski, Ted Jungiewiecz, the late Wanda Smolka, and the late Walter Jungiewiecz. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2008, at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 22, 2008, 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home, to St. Alphonsus Church, Lemont, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
