Alex Reidelbach Obituary
Copley, OH: Alex C. Reidelbach, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 in Copley, Ohio after a brave battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Eiseman Reidelbach, and is survived by his daughter Ruth (Ed) Simpson, and grandsons Andy (Maggie) and Alex Simpson of Copley, Ohio. He is also survived by his sisters Norma Coleman and Elaine Costello, nieces Therese, Mary, Katherine, Margaret, Julianne, and Clare and many grand nephews and nieces, all of whom gave him much love and support.
Alex was a Korean War veteran and a proud member of the Rayson Miller American Legion Post 899. He was retired from Star Markets and had also worked for Lubin Distributors and ERA First Team Realty. Alex was long time resident of Pittsford and attended St. Louis Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Church, 64 South Main Street, Pittsford. Burial in White Haven Memorial Park to follow. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Please visit the guestbook at www.hummelcares.com

Ruthie,
I was so saddened to learn of the passing of your Dad. Doris and Alex were long time friends of mine. In fact, I was a bridesmaid in their wedding. We exchanged greeting cards through the years and also many phone calls. I would try to visit them every time that I was in Rochester. You and your lovely family and Alex's family are in my prayers. Sincere condolences.

Ruth,
I'am a friend of your mother and father from high school days in Rochester. Your mother and I have exchanged Christmas cards for over 50 years and kept in touch. I feared that she had passed when my card was returned this past December. I'm sorry to learn of the passing of your father. My sister in Florida keeps up with Rochester friends and sent me the notice. We shared many wonderful times together in Triangle Girls and as young couples starting out on the journey of life. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Alex and Doris when they lived at Forest Park in Victor, NY. I very much enjoyed getting to know them and to help care for them. I am very sorry for your loss.
