Beloved husband of the late Therese (nee Rascinowski), loving dad of Charlene (Ron) Englund and Christine (Tony) Chap, proud grandpa of Todd (Joanne), Kevin, Trisha Englund, Matthew (Brandy) and Mary (fiance, David Fischer) Chap, great-grandpa of Katarina and Keegan Chap and Hayleigh Fischer, fond brother of Merlin, the late William, Isabelle, Jean, Robert, Albert, James and John. Member of Johnson-Phelps Post #5220 VFW and Clan McDuff. Longtime reader at the Covington School. Service Thursday, 11 a.m. at Zimmerman & Sandeman Funeral Home, 5200 W. 95th St. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to Alzheimer's Research, would be appreciated. Info., 708-424-0340.
