Treichel Sr., 92, of Alton, Illinois, a foreman at Olin Corporation before his retirement in 1975, died at Greenwood Manor West Nursing Home West in Jerseyville, Illinois, on Saturday, November 23, 2002. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, November 25, 2002, 4-8 p.m., at Staten Funeral Home, 220 Court Street, Alton. Services are scheduled for Monday, 7 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Pere Marquette Assembly No. 0203. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, November 26, 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 4th and Henry streets, Alton, officiated by Father Fernando Cuenca. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Alton.
