Alan Waxman Obituary
Waxman, Alan beloved husband of Rita, loving father of Helen (Harvey) Sandler and Marilyn (Michael) Kafenstok, cherished grandfather of Justin and Kimberly Sandler and Sarah and Jordan Kafenstok, dear brother of David (the late Helen) Waxman. Mr. Waxman was a holocaust survivor. Graveside services Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery (Section IV Carmel), 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Miami-Dade Chapter, 1108 Kane Concourse, Suite 303, Bay Harbor Islands, FL, 33154 or the American Cancer Society, 820 Davis St., Suite 340, Evanston, IL, 60201, would be appreciated.
