Alan Osowski Obituary
Alan Ronald Osowski, age 83, of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou Osowski, nee Guzman. Loving father of Celeste (Leo) Werr, Donna Osowski, Alan Osowski, and Jim Osowski. Cherished grandfather of Abby, Livy, and Emma. Dear brother of Pamela Osowski, Monica (Steven) Tyre, Denice Kounalis, Mark (Lisa) Osowski, the late Joyce (late Joe) Weber, and the late Paul Osowski. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Aloysius and Helene (nee Lichnerowicz) Osowski. Alan was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a retired Systems Analyst and manager in the banking industry. Alan was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Memorial visitation Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. South Holland, IL. A great man. Your weekly phone calls with my dad, your brother Mark, were often the highlight of his week. I could hear how happy he was each time after he speaking to you on the phone. You will be dearly missed Uncle Ron, but there is peace in knowing you’re reunited with Aunt Marylou.

What a wonderful guy! We share the same three awesome granddaughters and as long as I am alive I will always keep his love for them alive in our conversations. Hugs to the family, the Lord is enjoying him now.
