I started at Shabbona Park with Alan Bieniak in fall of 2002. Alan's Dad-Coach Ted coached me and all my friends at Shabbona. Alan was a great friend to me and a great athlete. I enjoyed playing in Special Olympics with you and I will miss you a lot. May God take good care of you,Ted and Stella!

God Bless you Alan and give you eternal peace and welcome you home with your Mom, Stella and Dad, Ted. You were a Special Olympics Athlete since childhood, and a great gymnast and figure skater, along with your other sports interests. I remember watching your performance on the rings while in Bloomington for State Competition and how amazed I was at your performance. You made your parents proud and how they loved you. May you rest in peace in God's loving arms.

One of the proudest moments that I was able to share with Alan and his family was when Alan won a Gold Medal in gymnastics at the World Games at Notre Dame. I will never forget how proud Coach Ted, his Mom, and his entire family were of that accomplishment and countless others that he achieved through his life. Alan was a truly gifted athlete and both he and his Dad and Mom have touched so many of our lives during our time together at Independence Park and Shabbona Park. My thoughts and prayers are with all of our families whom loved Alan so much as we mourn his passing and while we are sad I know we all take great comfort that their family is now back together again in heaven.
