Agnes Fiedler Obituary

"Faithful friends are beyond price; no amount can balance their worth." (Sirach 6: 15)

Agnes was a faithful and faith-filled friend. I am grateful for the gift of sharing so much of our lives and ministries together. One of our shared ministries was Cabrini-Green in Chicago, Illinois.

The Chicago Province Jesuits wish to express their deepest condolences at this special time of great loss. Agnes and George, son, John, and daughter, Mary, have been cherished companions of the Jesuits on the journey of faith and service, especially remembering Agnes' late brother, Fr. John Amberg, SJ. Be assured of a special remembrance of Agnes and George and all the family in the prayers and good works of the Jesuits as they continue the journey, "Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.".

Thanks for being with our family in good and bad times.

We are deeply saddened by your profound loss. It is always difficult to lose a loved one, particularly a mother/grandmother. Fortunately, we have come to know her through our friendship with her beloved son and granddaughter. We have no doubt she made this final journey with the love and support of her family and is indeed with the angels right now.
