Adam, you may have changed forms, but you are still a bright light shining in your mother’s, brothers’, sister’s, and friends’ eyes! Your time on earth was way too short, but you definitely left a beautiful mark.

For so many years, Ive looked for you on Facebook. I had no idea you were already gone too soon! I miss you my friend! Looks like you had a great family and were a great Dad! I wish your family all the best. Im a teacher too! I will always remember you as a great friend! Wish you were still here.

I think about you a lot as I am now the art teacher at Red Hill Elementary. We would have had so much fun sharing ideas! I bet the kids loved your class. I have to say, it's a pleasure teaching something that all kids love.

As Adam's cousin, I enjoyed visiting him and his siblings over the years. I was so thrilled when I heard that Adam decided to go to college to become a teacher. He knew it would be difficult, but also wanted to help children in school, who struggled as he did. His life here on earth was too short, but he touched countless people's lives in that short time. I pray for strength for all of his family, and for peace and comfort, knowing that Adam was a wonderful person who did a lot of good in his lifetime.

Mrs. Schneiderman My kids came from the pool very upset after they found out about Mr. S my son Colby was very fond of him. He helped Colby a lot and he was a very sweet man. I remember one day for both Aliyah and Colby's b-day they made sure they took him a cup cake. that's how much he touched them. I am sorry for your loss He will be missed by myself and my kids. As Adam's aunt it was always so heartwarming to see the love that he showered on his elderly grandparents. He loved visiting them in upstate New York and brought such joy to them with his smile and quick wit. Adam is forever in my heart.

i am so grateful for the times i spent in Virginia with Adam, Jenn, Ariel, Sakari, and Talya. Seeing how loving Adam was with his daughters -- patient, affectionate, silly -- filled my heart with gladness.

i miss Adam terribly, but have so many wonderful memories to carry with me, always: playing Star Wars DVD trivia (Adam even beat me... once); after-dinner walks on the beaches of Virginia and Hilton Head; dancing at a small nightclub in NYC (no, i'm not kidding!); throwing a baseball back and forth in the backyard in NC....

i love you, Adam. thank you for all the good times.

I had the opportunity to work with Adam for 4 and a half years at Westside, as I worked Blue Ridge Behavioral Health Care. He was always caring and concerned about the children and he would occasionally ask for advice on how to best deal with one of my students or some other student who was having difficulty. He will truly be missed.

Please know that you have my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your beloved son and brother, Adam. I am praying that God will comfort your hearts and give you peace during this time of sorrow. Remember to 'cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you'...I Peter 5:7. Be assured, too, that Adam was loved, not only by his family, but by many, many people with whom he interacted. Obviously, he made a difference in the lives of a lot of people, including his colleagues and students! Just reading the entries in the memorial guest book affirm all that I know about his sweet spirit! What a testimony to such a caring, sensitive, compassionate individual!

My heart goes out to his dear wife and girls, too, because I know that he will be sorely missed! Remind them often of his everlasting love for them.

I worked with Adam for only one year, and was always in awe at his spirit and silliness... He truly loved the kids, and found so many funny things in everyday. I remember him most for his laughter and great sense of humor. He will be missed by so many.

My kids had to fight over Schneiderman at the end of the year because they all wanted to go have lunch with him and help him in his room. They just loved him! He will live on in the lives of all the kids he touched at Westside and in his beautiful daughters. Westside won't be the same. We will remember you always. You are in my prayers.

Adam was such an uplifting person. He always had a way of making you smile! I only knew him a short time, however he made me feel like he had known me for life. Thanks for the smiles and jokes!

Adam will be missed by his students but his art and creativity will be carried on in the students he has taught and the beautiful mural he created at Westside,

I only knew Adam for a short time. But there are just some people that make a HUGE impression and he was that type of person. He was always so positive and happy. He always put a smile on my face as well as many other people that he came in contact with. Adam is one of those people you just don't forget once you meet him. His family has my deepest sympathy. We are school bus drivers for westside and adam used to come outside and talk with us, kid around laugh before the students board the buses in the pm.We all are shocked and sadden to hear of his passing, we will miss him so very much.You the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Adam was a good friend and coworker. Each of the Westside Fine Arts Team has lost a huge piece of our heart. His huge laugh, talent and friendship will remain with us.
